Urban Design Excellence & Sustainable Kitchener Award

Masri O Architects is thrilled to be selected as a finalist for a City of Kitchener Urban Design Excellence & Sustainable Kitchener Award.

A play of colour animates and activates this gateway development from the Bridgeport neighbourhood to the urban centre of the City of Kitchener. The design team transformed a formerly derelict brownfield site comprising two properties containing a carwash and an outdated “strip mall” into a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly complex.
