This is a 1 storey, 10,000 ft²  fire station that is  incorporated into an existing EMS structure.  The new facility incorporates 3 through double bays, a small training room, and additional support spaces comprised of 2 offices, kitchen, change rooms, gender friendly wash and shower rooms, radio room, compressor room, workshop room, and a washing facility. The site was reconfigured to upgrade the vehicle parking space and accessibility to outdoor areas. Preliminary cost estimate was $3.5 M. However, were able to tender the project at $2.7 M, saving the client  22.8% of the project cost.
