Engineering V at the University of Waterloo, a 16,200 SF building. provided a mix of important new services for the Faculty of Engineering, including a Student Design Centre to serve as a lab and workshop space, as well as meeting, study, and common space. Departmental space for Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, and Systems Design Engineering consists of offices, research laboratories, meeting rooms, and undergraduate teaching and lab space, as well as the Centre for Intelligent Antenna and Radio Systems, a facility for leading-edge electromagnetic research.
Masri O Architects completed the field review of the building for Shore, Tilbe, Irwin & Partners, who were the primary architects on the project.
