Licensed Architect
Responsibilities include project leadership and management at various stages from concretion to post occupancy. you are the perfect candidate if you posses a strong passion for architecture, leadership, societal impact and business success. This roles requires leadership abilities to lead projects and teams through various stages of design, approvals, construction, etc. to final delivery of a project, working well with others with inspiration and vision.
Qualifications:
- Professional level degree in Architecture from a CACB accredited university
- Registration with the OAA as Intern is preferred
- Practical experience after graduation of 3-5 years minimum
To succeed at this role, you must possess the following skills:
- Leadership and decision making skills
- Proficiency in Revit
- Good knowledge of other CAD and presentation software, AutoCAD, Adobe CS Suite, V-Ray, Enscape and Lumion, etc.
- Well-developed ability to understand technical matters with attention to details
- Ability to prioritize and organize your own work and that of others involved in the project
- Commitment to achieve project targets
- Analytical mind, problem solving and creativity as well as discipline
- Well-developed ability to coordinate consultants’ work and drawings
- Thorough understanding of the Ontario Building Code and various building bylaws and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and understanding of drafting standards
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and use of various Office software
- Presentation skills and ability to inspire and rally support
- Experience in leading project through approvals stages
