This proposed development is a 4 hectare (41,500 square metres) site uphill from the Peterborough Lift Lock, Trent Canal, Peterborough Lift Lock Museum and the future Canadian Canoe Museum.
The design proposed by MORe is a modern residential complex with 259 residential units complete with indoor and outdoor amenities.
The two apartment structures of 8 and 11 storeys, straddle the slopes perpendicularly to allow for a maximum view of the Canal for all apartments.
Significant view shed analysis was completed to satisfy Parks Canada request that the Historic Lift Locks will remain the prominent view from the Trent Canal.
