Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) are gaining traction in the concrete forming market. MORe Principal, Reema Masri was one of eighteen world experts in the ICF field to speak at the first World ICF Exposition held in March 2017 in British Columbia. During her presentation, Reema detailed the use of ICFs in her many completed condominium projects. As ICFs add insulation value and stay in place on the concrete wall, they are much more efficient than forming with plywood and insulating after.
This event included a trade show where delegates could see all of the ICF wall manufacturers, ICF suspended floor forming systems and accessory products in one location. As well, delegates listened to eighteen world experts discuss the best way of designing, engineering and installing wall and floor systems in our buildings.
This show was designed for inspectors, engineers, architects and contractors with a desire to learn more about green concrete construction.
